About The Business

For more than fifteen years, attorney Jeff Putnam has fought for the rights of those affected by other individuals’ negligence. His legal career has taken him to several courts all over Nebraska, including the Nebraska Workers’ Compensation Court, the Nebraska Court of Appeals, and the Nebraska Supreme Court, in addition to the Lincoln County District Court in North Platte and the Douglas County Court here in Omaha. As a result, he concentrates his practice on workers’ compensation and personal injury law.

Direct losses for personal injuries might be less substantial and indemnify the claimant for losses that are more difficult to quantify in monetary terms, such as suffering and pain, deformity, and loss of quality of life. Financial damage, including medical expenses, property damage, and lost wages, are examples of special damages. At Putnam Law, we have experience handling the following categories of personal injury lawsuits: dog bites, bus collisions, aviation injuries, and construction liability. Also,  foodborne illness, motorcycle accidents, and other serious situations. We also act as local counsel for national firms on a handful of claims. Belviq and Belviq XR, among other recent legal claims, as well as mesothelioma and asbestos.

It is crucial that you defend your legal rights, starting the minute the accident happens, both there and in the hours and days that follow. Before speaking with an insurance adjuster if you have been harmed, you should always talk with a personal injury lawyer. Furthermore, you must ascertain your legal rights under Nebraska law before communicating with an adjuster. Insurance adjusters should not be relied upon to inform you of your rights. Remember that, whatever how amiable they may seem, they are actually working for the insurance companies, not for you. Protecting oneself is an essential responsibility. Finally, consult a lawyer before providing a recorded statement.
