Jai Ram lives and teaches in the tradition of Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan.
She first met Kundalini Yoga in 2002 when pregnant with her first child.
“This practice and the teachings surrounding it have been a constant source of support and inspiration to me through my journey of motherhood and womanhood. Without a doubt it was the strength of nervous system, spirit, heart and mind that Kundalini Yoga gave me that allowed me to give birth to my second and third children naturally after having had an emergency caesarian with my first. It was not so much that result as the sense of self-respect and empowerment I found through feeling sovereign in these processes that has left a lasting impression. I can also look at my children now and believe to see the clear effects of my practices through pregnancy on them, to the different measures they received those benefits. I have also found deep wisdom and practicality in the teachings in relation to the 40 Days Blessing teachings on supporting the mother in the first 40 days following birth. Having experienced first hand how incredibly beneficial this is, I am passionate about sharing the message of that very common sense and extremely important teaching.
Now that my children are all teenagers, the teachings and practices of Kundalini Yoga continue to empower and inspire me endlessly. I teach classes and programmes for women and planned is teacher training for pregnancy and postnatal yoga.
It is an honour to pass these teachings on to you, to consider and to integrate into your life in light of your own experience. May my classes increase your physical wellbeing and ease. May they serve to expand your choices and increase your confidence in your own intuition and intelligence on your unique path of womanhood and motherhood.”
